Core Responsibilities:Design, test, and recommend product improvements Create and modify 3D CAD models and drawingsPerform product testing and write test reports to summarize results, observations, and conclusionsExpected Learnings:Component and assembly design with 3D CAD softwareRisk assessment and design enhancementConnection between engineering and manufacturingUnderstanding of product development, data interpretation, and problem resolutionUnderstanding of Design for Manufacture to facilitate the manufacturing process to reduce manufacturing costsJob Requirements:College junior/senior pursuing a degree in Mechanical EngineeringHands on knowledge and understanding of MIG welding equipment and processes preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Word, Excel, PowerPointProficient in SolidWorks and Solid Edge preferredJob Competencies:Critical Thinking & Decision Making: Ability to make logical and sound decisions and to know when to act independently and when to seek assistance.Curiosity & Learning Orientation: Actively identifying new areas for learning and applying newly gained knowledge/skill on the job.Drive to Excel: Driven to succeed and willing to go the extra mile.
