Junior Logistics and Purchasing assistant London £20k - £24k (p.a)

Leading Design house has an urgent requirement for a purchasing/logistics assistant to join its administrative team in London.

This role will work closely with and support the purchasing manager in all administrative activities to support each area of the business.

They will be responsible:

  • Planning and coordination of both import and export shipments
  • Scheduling of staff and orchestrating deliveries to meet customer requirements
  • Monitoring product stock levels and identifying purchasing requirements
  • Obtaining the most competitive quotes from suppliers and logistic companies
  • Following up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
  • Maintaining appropriate filing of logistics and shipping documents

The ideal candidate will be well-presented and approachable. They will have strong organisational skills, excellent administrative skills and an ability to work to deadlines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is imperative alongside an ability to learn on the job and build an understanding of the company's working culture.
