We are looking to recruit a trainee workshop engineer for our well respected client within the tool and plant sector. If you have recently undertaken a mechanical NVQ and looking for a your 1st role this would be a fantastic opportunity. Likewise, if you have a mechanical and electrical background we would love to hear from you.
As a trainee workshop engineer you will work alongside the workshop engineers. You will be fault finding and undertaking small repairs on small tools and small plant equipment. Full training will be given to aid your development.
This role is well suited for a candidate who has a mechanical and electrical background, who has recently undergone a mechanical NVQ or is currently working within the Tool and Plant sector and would be keen on developing their knowledge on the engineering side of things.
* Workshop-based with the occasional trips to help repair on site
* Preparing small tools and plant machinery - inspection & fault diagnosis
* Allocating tools and plant machinery and equipment for customers

The person:
* Mechanical background (Small tools/ small plant equipment)
