Are you an aspiring Software developer looking to start your career with a well-established and evolving company?

Established in 2005, SmarterPay are a private, family owned company who provide easy to use Direct Debit and card payment solutions, enabling their customers to organise, manage and automate their payment processes.

Due to continued success and growth, they are now looking for a hardworking and motivated software development apprentice to join their team of developers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Project planning and development
• Testing and debugging code
• Working on adhoc projects
• Supporting the senior developers with tasks
• Learning more into the world of code

Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of development
• Interested in technology
• Friendly and eager
• Willing to learn
• Knowledge of coding languages would be beneficial
• A minimum of a grade C in Maths and English language or a level 2 functional skills

Salary, Hours & Holidays:

• £11,700 per annum
• Monday to Friday (09:00 - 17:00)
• 25 days of annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays & Christmas)
• Option to gain industry-recognised qualifications
• Free tea/coffee/drinks
• Annual incentives

There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the program with the possibility of progression onto one of our Level 4 programs.
