An excellent opportunity has arisen for this world leading manufacturer of surgical equipment for a Junior Medical Service Technician with good customer facing skills to be based at its NHS site in the Guildford area.
THE PERSON
It will be the role of the Junior Medical Equipment Technician to provide specialist support to all users on how to set up, maintain, repair and calibrate equipment within healthcare environments. Your role will be based on a specific site in the Surrey healthcare trust near Guildford. Full training will be required.
Responsibilities Include:
- Inspection of surgical equipment
- Maintenance and Repair of electro-mechanical equipment
- Repair of AV equipment
- Training Users on equipment
- Administration/Reports
- General Maintenance of Endoscopes
THE PERSON
In order to succeed in the role of Junior Medical Customer Service Technician ideally you will have experience of working within a hospital, technical, engineering, field service, electronics or technical sales environment. You could also be from a forces environment including the Royal Navy, RAF, REME.
