Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire
Salary: £18 - £30k per annum (commensurate with skills and experience)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time

About us:

Fireplaces Direct is a long-established Basingstoke business entering its 41st year operating in the Hampshire, Surrey, Berkshire area. They have a very experienced team of qualified installers with a great team spirit at Fireplaces Direct. Due to expansion our Client is recruiting now for a Fireplace Installer & Trainee Fireplace Installer.

The Role

The role will be to assist with the installation of all types of gas, wood burning and multi-fuel appliances. They also install flu linings, chimney systems and very contemporary, high quality and traditional fireplaces

What We Need from You:

You will need to be a team player, responsible, reliable, practical, enthusiastic, hardworking with a superb quality of neat and tidy workmanship and willing to learn.

You will also need to be presentable and be able to communicate effectively with the customers and colleagues.

Additional skills such as plastering, bricklaying etc would be useful.

In return, we can offer a structured and progressive training programme teaching you all the skills required to install our complete range of products which include gas, wood burning and multi-fuel appliances as well as electric fires and fire surrounds.

This role would suit anyone with Hetas or Gas Safe qualifications or construction industry experience looking to develop their career and skills.

Fireplaces Direct is Gas Safe, HETAS and SMAS registered.
