Are you currently studying your AAT? Do you work in an accountancy practice though want to delve into Audit? Square Peg Associates are looking for a Trainee Audit Assistant to join a North West leading firm in Blackburn.
As a Trainee Audit Assistant, you will be an enthusiastic individual who is working towards / or has completed your AAT qualification and have a minimum of 6 months in an accountancy practice.
You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of audit, including accounts preparation. The role will be split 80% audit and 20% management accounts.

The role of Audit Assistant:
- To work on audit assignments, both in the firm's offices and at client premises
- To carry out accounts preparation, including corporation tax calculations
- To be involved in the team working on special corporate assignments, such as grant claims, forecasting and IFRS advice
Essential Audit Assistant Requirements:
- Working towards AAT qualifications
- Accountancy practice experience is essential
- Computer literate and competent on Microsoft Office
- Own vehicle and UK driving license is essential
