Trainee Audit Assistant Bristol, Somerset

We are currently working with a large accountancy practice, seeking to recruit a recent graduate into their expanding team. Due to a large recent client win, the team is expanding at a range of different levels.

This is an important role within the audit department which has come about due to the expansion of the business and they are looking for a quick learner.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning of internal audit work programmes
• Perform internal audit fieldwork, reviewing exposure to risk and the effectiveness of the controls in place to mitigate risks
• Recommend improvements to systems and controls based on observations and best practice
• Prepare internal audit reports which present audit findings in a clear, concise manner
• Assist on other special assignments as appropriate (e.g. fraud investigations, effectiveness reviews)
