Trainee Heavy Vehicle Technician Ipswich, Suffolk £11 - £13 (p.a)

Do you have a background working on vehicles e.g. cars or vans ? Do you have strong diagnostic skills (Electrical/Hydraulic/Transmissions)?

This well-established company are a supplier of high grade vehicles and machinery for a number of industries. They are in the process of expanding their operations and rapidly increasing their turnover even during this period.
In this role you will be servicing and repairing heavy vehicles both in the workshop and the field. A vehicle will be provided and most work will be carried out on-site. You will be responsible for ensuring that customers are dealt with in a professional manner, and that all health and safety regulations are met while work is carried out.

This would ideally suit someone with any background of working on large vehicles, such as HGVs, agricultural, plant or construction vehicles.

The Role:
* Servicing and repairing heavy vehicles
* Receiving on-the-job training on specialist vehicles
* Both field and workshop-based
* £21,000-25,000 (OTE 25-30K) + Training + Progression + Bonus + Van + Holiday

The person:
* Experience working with vehicles e.g. cars or vans
* Strong diagnostics skills
* Experience working with larger vehicles e.g. HGVs or agricultural machinery desirable but not essential.
* Willing to work in a field-service role
