Job Title: Traineeship Tutor
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 (dependent upon qualifications and experience)
Type: Full time, Permanent
Duties:
Create and deliver inspiring Traineeship programmes, combining Employability, Customer Service and Functional Skills L1&2 training to learners aged 16-24.
Create engaging schemes of work, lesson plans and resources to support your delivery.
Coach and train learners in groups of approx. 10, throughout the 12 week Traineeship programme from enrolment/induction through to completion.
Identify and assess the needs of learners, overcome any barriers to learning and adapt course content and delivery style to meet these needs.
Provide engaging and exciting training sessions to inspire and motivate learners.
The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods, providing differentiation and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs.
Promote Equality and Diversity, Safeguarding and Health and Safety.
As part of the Employability delivery you will be required to assist clients with CV writing, job search, interview techniques, confidence building and deliver advice and guidance to enable clients to make informed decisions about their future goals.
Essential Criteria:
Recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS / AET or equivalent)
Must have experience of delivering Traineeship programme (Employability / Customer Service)
Have experience of developing schemes of work, lesson plans and resources
Must have experience of working with and motivating young people.
Personal Skills:
Demonstrate energy and passion to motivate and deliver engaging training to your learners
Enthusiastic individual who is able to make a real impact and make learning exciting
Demonstrate confidence, tenacity and ability to work on own initiative.
