Our client based in Newton Aycliffe are looking for a Warehouse apprentice to join their busy logistics operation.
Candidate requirements:
- Have an interest in warehouse processes and a want to develop skills to proceed into a career in logistics sector.
- I T Literate, good communication skills both verbal and written
- Effective at time management.
- Able to multitask, have ability to prioritise and be effective at problem solving
- Have a positive can-do attitude.
- Be organised and able to work on own initiative.
Main Responsibilities/duties following training:
- R eview manifests of goods received and scheduled deliveries.
- Review held over reports
- Assist with compiling of damage reports and investigations
- Undertake Health and Safety Walk around Audits
- Order replenishment
- Review and restocking of first Aid and Eye Wash Stations
- Following training developing warehouse experience to counterbalance fork lift truck operator
- Following training undertake driving duties / collections / deliveries
Additional duties:
- Assist with general administration duties in relation to transport / customer queries.
