I wish to apply for roles relating to writing, copywriting, editing, publishing and library work. I have recently completed a three year degree in English and Film at the University of Salford, attaining a 2:1, and I believe the knowledge and skills built up during this time make me the perfect candidate for these roles.Theses positions particularly interest me because of my passion for reading, writing, literature and media. During my course, I gained skills such as proofreading for spelling and grammar, adjusting tone of writing depending on purpose, meeting deadlines, meeting large and small word counts, researching appropriate and reliable information, properly citing sources used and ability to confidently use Microsoft Word. These skills have given me an excellent foundation for building a career within the aforementioned fields.
