I led 3 charity campaigns. I planned, organised and ran these national campaigns on a local level. I planned a marketing strategy to raise awareness of the themes and the associated events which I was organising. I created flyers, posters and postcards using Adobe Photoshop. I also used social media and YouTube to and achieved in marketing Team V and the charity themes to a world wide audience. I organised events, including sourcing locations and entertainment. I worked with local businesses, organisations and local and even national media to make the campaigns a success. Highlights include:n* Raising 863 items of food to defeat food poverty. * Created a Youtube channel and produced videos which has received over 900 views.n* Organised 2 creative writing and book performing workshops which saw 48 children attend. n* Winner of the 'Best Blogger' 3 times.n* Team V was 'Highly Commended' at the Times Charity Awards.

I was on the committee for my department. We worked together to market and publicise the existence of the committee and raise awareness of the role of the committee. I organised and publicised a number of events including a highly successful staff / student Quiz Night. Details

I was News Editor. I was in charge of the News section of the magazine, with my co-news editor. I researched and commissioned stories, led a team of writers and proofread all articles. Due to the frequency of production, there were tight deadlines and given the nature of news it was often challenging to manage as news stories would break, however showing flexibility and good problem solving I was always able to deal with this and still meet the deadlines. This role also involved providing content for the online version and the blogs during the Union Executive Elections which are the biggest of their kind in the country. The section was praised by the Head Of Media as being very well run, varied and interesting.
