Key Achievements/Leading Project Management Roles To TILL : Successfully coordinated the Commonwealths Herbal Medicine Development Initiative, a 4-year project undertaken in Africa, Asia, Caribbean and Pacific, aimed at integrating traditional and complementary medicine into national healthcare systems through the development and supply of herbal products into mature/emerging markets. In collaboration with the Government of Singapore delivered on-going major annual training programme to 3000 officials from 48 Commonwealth countries to instruct attendees on how to strengthen the capacity of SMEs in developing countries to improve product design and drive Exporting Performance and Competitiveness. Responsible for managing and allocating funds across 2 COMSEC divisions that dealt with Trade Policy and Implementation Projects resulting from The Trade and Investment Access Facility Initiative set up by the Heads of Government at the Commonwealth Summit in Edinburgh in 1997. During the 10 year period 1999-2009 a total of 69 projects were implemented, including a key initiative in Geneva still on-going to create a permanent presence for negotiating Commonwealth country positions with WTO, and also for generating collaborations with WTO, ITC, UNCTAD and other Geneva based international trading and regulatory organisations.
