During these trips I used the opportunity to carry out service work on equipment and supply professional advice on installations and the shipping of dangerous goods. I was also responsible for training many professions on the use and safety of the products and equipment that we supplied. Due to the nature of the products I had to carry out rigorous security checks on customers, shipping companies and routes. During the course of carrying out international dealings I have had to deal with many methods of payment which include the use of letters of credit, payment in advance and cash against documents. I have also had to negotiate terms and conditions of supply which crossed many different social and cultural backgrounds.
