Student New Deal For Musicians Manchester August 2008 - December 2008 After a spell unemployed attended this training service weekly in the centre of Manchester for a mix of one on one meetings with tutors and group classes and undertook accompanying work and reading/writing exercises at home. Worked well for me and was praised highly by the tutors and awarded a £100 bonus when signing off to become self employed the following year.

Artist Manager I-DEF-I Manchester May 2005 - November 2008 Manager and investor for Manchester based heavy metal band, booked gigs and tours, secured licensing and distribution deals for physical and digital releases, dealt with press and radio work, liased with record labels. Sold merchandise and acted as tour manager on the road for the band in the UK and France. Oversaw recording and release of a mini album in 2006 and album in 2008 that both sold in to the lower thousands brackets of CD units. Booked the band in store appearances, acoustic sessions etc.
