Research, plan, design and implement one of the e-learning solutions (an e-portfolio system Mahara) within the curriculum of the Digital Technologies, Communication and Education Master Programme (MA DTCE). Work closely with programme director to plan the implementation project in a way that contribute to the enhancement of the teaching and learning. Liaise with academics, IT and other administrative staff within the school to make effective decisions on each step of the implementation project.Development and production of supporting materials for students and staff (instructional manuals and videos) on how to effectively use the system.Contribute to the delivery of these materials through induction and training sessions and activities for students both on-campus and distance ones..Participate in the recording, editing and packaging the content of the supporting videos and assist in their integration within the virtual learning environment (i.e. Blackboard) Work closely with the programme director to participate in the testing of the e-portfolio system and its instructional materials within the Blackboard. Responsibility of customizing the interface of the e-portfolio system (which is Mahara system) to a very high quality. Always give update of the new research and projects conducted about similar initiatives and review the successful practices of any e-learning initiative within Higher Education.

Through teaching them how to create a website that demonstrates one of the aspects of the Academy, which is 'contribute' The students will learn how to create a website using wordpress and will present that to at the end of the project to students in the primary school.
