SENIOR OPERATIONS and SECURITY MANAGER, Fort Hood Killeen , TX April 2013-Present Manage 70 personnel supporting four military units consisting of more than 2 ,000 personnel conducting world-wide contingency operations in support of Department of Defense missions in deployed areas. Responsible for the organizations operations, training, and operational planning and resource management. Provide leadership and subject matter expertise SME in the areas of Physical Security, Personnel Security, Information Security, Operations Security, Antiterrorism and Force Protection. Establish organizational alignment identify staffing and resource needs and develop internal policy guidance and operating procedures to meet long-and short-term goals. Serve as organizations Plans, Operations and Training Manager and program manager for Operations Security OPSEC program. Responsible to design and deliver innovative training programs to ensure personnel maintain a firm understanding of organizational security priorities and requirements. Responsible to conduct vulnerability and threat assessments, and routine building inspections requiring comprehensive knowledge of strict Department of Defense security regulations. Serve as antiterrorism officer ATO and force protection action officer serve as commanders sole representative at Corps level antiterrorism working groups ATWG and planning sessions. Thorough grasp of the theories and systems associated with principles and security methods, techniques, and procedures through development, and daily management of security related programs. Responsible for the physical protection of 6 separate high value corporate offices, 4 large consolidated vehicle parking areas, and 10 separate administrative buildings, including 8 arms, ammunition, and explosives storage vaults. Serve as antiterrorism officer ATO and physical security officer for one of the largest Access Control Points on Fort Hood, TX, the Armys largest military installation. Ensure guards are vetted, resourced, trained and properly equipped prior to assuming guard duties. Monitor the performance of 10 sergeant of guards, and 200 guards to ensure compliance with all Department of Defense and installation guard post orders and take immediate corrective actions for non-compliant issues. Conduct research to evaluate and analyze effectiveness of security and training programs and present information and ideas clearly and accurately concerning the effectiveness of programs in quarterly or annual reports in written reports and formal presentations. Selected Accomplishments : Project Management : Served as project manager and oversaw process improvement activities for physical security and access control for one of the largest Access Control points on 214K acre military installation.
