Live Recruitment was founded six years ago by our Managing Director, James Walton.

After more than 15 years working within communications agencies, James had reached a senior level, but was continually frustrated by the poor service he was getting from recruitment agencies. They didn’t understand the people, skills or experience necessary for working in the industry. Many of them had no knowledge of the industry and didn’t understand the skills, experience and attitude he was looking for.

There had to be a better way!

So James took a deep breath and set up Live Recruitment, starting with just a phone and a laptop but content in the knowledge that he had something that would give him the edge – he knew the industry inside out!
